Nathan Wilson, MD
Dr. Wilson grew up in Waycross, Georgia. He attended the University of Georgia, graduating with degrees in biology and cellular biology. He moved to Augusta in 1999 to attend the Medical College of Georgia, and upon graduation, completed residency training in pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of Georgia. Dr. Wilson practiced pediatrics in South Augusta from 2006 to 2010, when he and his family left the United States to serve as missionaries in Cusco, Peru. There Dr. Wilson worked for seven years as a pediatrician and director of La Fuente clinic, a Christian, non-profit healthcare clinic that serves the poor of that region. Dr. Wilson is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and licensed in Georgia, South Carolina, and in Peru. He is fluent in Spanish. He is passionate about parenting and preventive health for children. In 2018, Dr. Wilson and his wife, Audrey, returned to Augusta with their five children and began practicing at Augusta Pediatric Associates in March 2019.
