Jerry A. Miller, Jr. MD
Dr. Miller, a native of Virginia, began our practice in 1980 when he opened his office in Thomson, Georgia as part of a commitment to the National Health Service Corps. In 1982, he moved to Augusta, and since then, with God’s blessing, the practice has grown to its present size.
He attended Wheaton College, Illinois and Emory University before going on to graduate from the Medical College of Georgia School of Medicine. He did his residency in pediatrics at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston; his last year there, he was chief resident in pediatrics.
He is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American College of Pediatricians.
He has the academic appointment of clinical professor of pediatrics at the Medical College of Georgia.
Dr. Miller is listed in The Best Doctors in America: Southeastern Edition, and has been for many years.
Professional interests include infectious diseases, cardiology, international pediatrics (especially medical missions), and childrearing.
Dr. Miller and his wife have been married for over 40 years; they have four married children, and eleven grandchildren.
