Our Commitment to You

We purpose to give your children unsurpassed high-quality, up-to-date, compassionate, comprehensive pediatric care.

What do we mean?

1. We are committed to your children. Each of us loves children. That is why we are pediatricians instead of adult doctors. We are privileged to be entrusted with your child's medical care, and we do not take this trust lightly. Your child is precious and beyond value to you, and he is to us as well. We believe that each child is a gift from the Lord, first to the family, and then to the world. We will treat your children as being of immense worth.

2. We are committed to high-quality care. This is why you bring your children to us in the first place. We are certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, having trained in rigorous pediatric residencies across the country, and then having passed a comprehensive examination. We are all fellows of the American Academy of Pediatrics, a national organization committed to the well-being of children, and requiring that each member meet certain criteria for fellowship. We also help teach Medical College of Georgia pediatric residents and medical students. It is our desire to deliver to your child care that is unmatched.

3. We are committed to up-to-date care. We take part in continuing pediatric education to keep us current, and we rely upon each other to help with difficult cases. We often call our colleagues who are in the pediatric subspecialties to be sure we are doing all we should be doing for our patients, and we are quick to refer if we are unsure of a particular diagnosis, or if a child would be better off seeing a subspecialist.

4. We are committed to compassionate care. We pledge to you that we will treat your children with dignity, respect, and compassion. We realize that when children are frightened or ill, they need to be handled with extra gentleness and patience. Jesus always had time for children and their needs. We do too.

5. We are committed to comprehensive care. Our office is your child's medical home. We offer continuous and ongoing care that is non-fragmented; we believe that this offers a child the best care, and allows us to follow your child over time so that we really know your child, your family, and any ongoing medical issues. We also see our roles as pediatricians as much broader than just caring for your child's physical health, as important as that is. We want to serve your child and your family in every aspect of life: emotional, intellectual, physical, and spiritual.
